Arid is a god among many, and can be one of many gods in any follower's given pantheon. Arid's followers show devotion to Arid through silence and obedience to Arid's wishes.
Followers of Arid may choose to worship for any number of reasons, but no one is obligated to do so. All rituals are done out of a wish to please Arid without threat of punishment. Those who do not wish to worship Arid, or who wish to terminate their worship, face no consequences for their decisions.
WARNINGS AND DISCLAIMERS FOR PRACTITIONERS:
A practitioner must never isolate themselves or others from the world around them. Arid will never command or wish for blood as an offering or self-harm. Arid will never accept or condone animal or human sacrifices. If someone in this community is trying to convince you that the people around you think you are crazy and you should cut yourself off from them, or if they claim to have special knowledge, or if they ask from you personal details or try and blackmail you, this person must immediately be blocked and reported.
